Carolina Days Trolley Tours

June 27
Free

Historic Trolley Tours are back in action celebrating & commemorating South Carolina’s pivotal role in the American Revolution during this 250th anniversary year of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Battle of Sullivan’s Island–a major early victory, and the creation of the SC State Flag.

Tours will visit Revolutionary sites in Jasper County including the Tomb of Thomas Heyward, Jr. at Old House, the Battle sites of Purrysburg and Coosawhatchie, and a stop at the Morris Center in Ridgeland for a film screening of the JC250 film entitled “Old House and the Legacy of Thomas Heyward, Jr.”

There will be two starting point options for tours:  On June 27, one tour leaves from the Sgt. Jasper Park in Hardeeville at 10am and the other departs from the Frampton House at Point South at 9:45am.

Please see the “Activities” section on this website for more details and to sign up through Eventbrite or go direct to Eventbrite website.  The tours are free but seating is limited.
