Join us at Millstone Landing as the Emily Geiger Chapter, NSDAR, Jasper 250 Committee, and the City of Hardeeville unveil new historical panels and a Revolutionary War marker honoring Purrysburg’s rich past.

Millstone Landing is the site associated with the Battle of Purrysburg since the actual site is currently privately owned. We will be installing four Interpretive signs at the landing site for the following topics:
- Purrysburg Battle
- Purrysburg Township
- Maroon Communities during the Revolutionary War
- Purrysburg role in the Civil War – Sherman’s March to the Sea
- State Historical Marker installation
